In chapter 27 of the book Uncle Tom's Cabin in what ways has Marie changed since her daughter’s death?
Marie doesn't change much. If anything she becomes harder after her husband's death. Indeed, Marie lacks any of regards for the bonds of womanhood and motherhood with which Stowe has strived to appeal to her readers. She felt isolated by Eva and her father's kindness towards the slaves. This isolation probably angered her further. She sells Tom and eleven others when her husband dies, despite her husband's wishes to set them free.
