How are old dan and little ann unusual

Little Ann is small in stature. She is the dog-brains behind the outfit. Old Dan is the brawn. Little Ann never gives up on a hunt. She is loyal to both Old Dan and Billy. Old Dan follows Little Ann's lead and is able to push through most anything to get their quarry. I suppose if you needed hunting dogs in the Ozarks, Little Anne and Old Dan would be a good catch.
