what news does Mr. Kyle bring from camp to billy

Everyone is looking for the group, as Grandpa has fallen and gotten hurt. Two of the dogs have been lost............. some of the men who've been looking for the family find them and pass on word. Mr. Kyle informs Billy that he's made it into the final round based on the coon his dogs have treed (nobody's gotten him down yet!) The dogs have been circling the tree all night and are freezing, but they haven't left their job. All Billy needs is this one coon as he already has two.
