Who are the pritchard's? What reputation do they have?

The Prichards were a large family that lived up river from Billy.Their reputation was that they were "bootleggers, thieves and all around no accounts." The Pritchard brothers, Rubin and Rainie, were particularily mean. The brothers were antagonists to Billy. They were private people who had their own ways of doing things.
