I'm thinking that you mean early on in chapter 1. The two men, Bill and Henry, know that the wolves are closing in on them. THey don't have enough ammunition to keep the wolves at bay.They start a fire and when the wolves attack they throw fire at them.Henry actually jumps into the fire hurling burning ash at them. Fortunately a party of men looking for the coffin show up and rescue the men.
When is the first time White Fang feels shame? What does this feeling cause him to do? Should White Fang have been ashamed? Why or why not?
