Describe What Role/Responsibility Does Via (The Character) Play In Auggie's Life Throughout The Novel?

Via loves her brother. She is his best friend and protector. Over the course of the novel, Via tries to break free and establish her own identity, she doesn't want to merely be known as Auggie's sister. She wants to be herself.
