How Auggie is not much different from any other kid his age and how this reality speaks to the novel’s overall meaning.

Auggie has a face like very few other people, but so much of him is just like us. But how Auggie is not much different from any other kid his age and how this reality speaks to the novel’s overall meaning.

Outside of the way he looks, Auggie is just like any other little boy. He enjoys hanging out with friends, he loves movies and the characters that are portrayed, he has a great sense of humor, and he likes school. In essence, the message the book conveys is a message of acceptance.... we're all different, and yet, we're all very much the same.
