Drawings and paintings by students on Mr. Tushman’s walls
I think the drawings represent Mr. Tushman's fondness for his students which includes Auggie. The drawings also represent perceptions of how people see each other. Auggie and Mr. Tushman discuss whether he (Mr. Tushman) looks like a pumpkin in the picture. This ties into how other's perceive Auggie.
