Why did Via not leave with her dad on the morning of Halloween?

Via was having a crying fit..... the reason is not given.

On the morning of Halloween, Via had this big crying meltdown about something. Via’s always been so calm and cool, but this year she’s had a couple of these kinds of fits. Dad was late for work and was like, “Via, let’s go! Let’s go!” Usually Dad is super patient about things, but not when it comes to his being late for work, and his yelling just stressed out Via even more, and she started crying louder, so Mom told Dad to take me to school and that she’d deal with Via.

She had a crying....fit. We did not know the reson in the begining becyase that was in August piont of vewie and not Via's, but we later learned that the reason was because she missed her gran very much and wanted some one to care for her like her perants caried for Agust, she felt alone and slightly unwanted in her house because August was the center of everyones univers and she was slightly neglected by her parents after August was born. That is why she was crying because only her gran loved her more than August and his face.
