Why does via like high school better than her other schools

Via likes high school better because she goes there with no emotional baggage and everything is new. Nobody at Via's new high school knows Via; therefore, nobody knows about Auggie. Only Via's former best friends, Miranda and Ella, know, and they will not go around talking about Via's home life. Via sees this as an opportunity to start over without the past school experience defining her.
