I don't think Olivia was sure on how Justin would react to Auggie. After introducing Justin to Auggie, Via takes Justin her room and tells him that a lot of kids would never come back for a second playdate after meeting Auggie. Yet Justin tells her that he is not freaked out by Auggie, and seems convinced that Via believes his words.
