Zeitoun
In what ways can the Zeitoun family be seen as a "typical" American family? How can they be seen as "atypical"?

The are the typical American family, mom, dad, two kids. They own their own business and work together. Dad is an immagrant who led an interesting life. They would possibly be seen a typical because they're Muslim, but I think more because Kathy is a Convert to Islam.
