Speaker
The Speaker, Graves, describes the wonderful richness of life and all the opportunities it brings people. He is intent on highlighting the diversity of life, by using various different colors: "black...yellow...red...green" to reiterate this. However, he is also aware of the concept of greed and how it can corrupt people. He reveals that greed prevents one from being able to enjoy life and instead keeps them trapped and unable to truly experience the diversity of life.
