Here, the Scots Language Centre compiles a variety of sung versions of "Ae Fond Kiss," which was in fact originally set to music. Their website offers three different musical recordings of the poem, which offer an idea of the many possible ways to interpret it as well as of how Burns himself might have conceived of the work.
