Luis

Luis may also be referred to as Grillo (cricket). Due to the number of jaws he had broken, fellow gang members referred to him as Chin.

Maria Estela

Maria is the mother of one of the gang members and highly disapproves her son's behavior. As a result, Maria would later kick her son out of her house.

Alfonso

Alfonso is a philosopher and tries to deal with his son's behavior through his practice.

Jose Rene

Jose is the opposite of his brother and he excels in sports, music, and school.

Miguel Robles

A young man who would become the leader of his gang, "The Impersonators." *Spoiler Alert* Miguel would be killed in the novel.

Gloria

Gloria will take part in her brother's game, but many people who are worried about her believe that it is just a phase.
