The narrator
The narrator is the main character in most of the poems and also the only person who appears in most of the poems. Through the pomes, the narrator tries to make sense of the world and to understand what happened in her past.
The father
The father is also among the only character who also appears in the poems. The reason behind this is that the narrator was raised by her father since her mother died at a young age. The father is presented as a positive person who would do anything for his children but also someone who has troubles finding someone to fill in the place left empty by his wife.
