Biography of
Lily King
Lily King is an American novelist known for emotionally precise fiction about love, family, ambition, and the inner lives of artists. King’s recurring subjects—the formation of a writer, the collision of art and money, the way early loves shape an entire adulthood—run directly into the heart of this novel, whose unnamed-until-the-end narrator is herself a novelist looking back on the relationships that made her.
