Clive Owen Theo Faron

Clive Owen first gained recognition in the United Kingdom for playing the lead role in the television series Chancer from 1990 to 1991. He has since achieved further fame for his appearances in the films Close My Eyes (1991), Sin City (2005), Inside Man (2006), and Children of Men (2006). He won a Golden Globe and a BAFTA award and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in the 2004 film Closer. Because of his creative insight during the process of developing his character in the film, the screenwriters brought him on as an additional writer in 2005.

Julianne Moore Julian Taylor

Julianne Moore was initially cast to play the first woman to become pregnant in more than twenty years, before it was decided that the film's plot would deviate from the book on this front. She began her acting career in 1985 with a role in the soap opera As The World Turns, and has been nominated for Academy Awards for her roles in Boogie Nights, The End of the Affair, Far From Heaven, and The Hours, and finally won one for her role in Still Alice in 2014.

Michael Caine Jasper Palmer

Caine, a British actor, has been acting since the 1960s, and won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film Hannah and Her Sisters in 1986. He has appeared in many of director Christopher Nolan's films, including The Dark Knight, Inception, and Interstellar. He said he based his portrayal of Jasper in this film off of his experiences with musician and friend John Lennon.

Chiwetel Ejiofor Luke

While still a student in the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Ejiofor was cast by Steven Spielberg in the film Amistad. Recently, he has become known for roles in the films 2012, The Martian, and 12 Years a Slave. He has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards.
