Answers could include the lamp, the pen and ink, the hurricane, the knight in shining armor, amongst others, but, overall, responses should explain how the images are used primarily to illuminate the themes. For example, if a student mentions the compact discs and fax machines, they should discuss how these images develop theme of the effect of the digital age, and should describe those effects in detail. In this example, the effects are that the digital age has rendered much of life rather dull, including love life. All answers should be rooted in textual evidence.
