Danny the Champion of the World Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of Danny the Champion of the World, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Teachers should create a shared classroom folder and assign each student a folder under their name. Students should save any digitally done work to their classroom folder for assessment.

Day 1: Students will need access to a computer/tablet to create their two identity charts. For the 'Poaching Techniques' activity, students will need a computer and a program such as Adobe or Paint.
