John Preston
Preston is the highest ranking cleric in Father's regime. He has been trained to be a weapon to destroy all of the resistance seeking to bring Father down. Shortly into the story, he begins to feel once again and makes the choice to continue to have emotions. This causes him to join the resistance and put an end to Father's reign which will allow people to once again feel and flourish from their original intent.
Brandt
Brandt is John's replacement partner after the death of Partridge. He desires nothing more than to take down John as he believes him to be a traitor to Father. In his arrogance he is killed swiftly by John.
Mary
Mary is Partridge's wife who is arrested for sense-crimes by John. Preston begins to relay to her that he is off of the Prozium, but is unable to save her as she is incinerated by Father's regime.
Dupont
Dupont is the head of the counsel that poses as Father after Father's death years before. He demands that everyone take the Prozium, but he himself does not and feels every day while the people he looms over are deadened by his decrees. He is killed by John.
Partridge
Partridge is John's long-time partner. He has been taking evidence from crime scenes such as poetry to keep for himself. He has begun to feel and be part of the resistance. John catches him and executes him for his crimes against Father.
