Fifth Business Dr. Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth: PBS Video Series

Robertson Davies' Fifth Business is very much tied to the ideas of Jungian Psychology. Imbedded in that psychology are ideas about myth and the hero's journey. Aside from his many books on the subject, Dr. Campbell is well know through a PBS series entitled Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth with Bill Moyers. It is a thought provoking six part series that discusses how our connection to the universe adds perspective to our lives. The series delves into many of the themes that Robertson Davies highlights in Fifth Business, and hence is a useful companion piece to the novel.
