Fox in Socks (Mr. Fox)
Mr. Fox is a red anthropomorphous character that communicates entirely in dense rhyming tongue-twisters. Mr. Fox is also very playful and energetic, he enjoys doing crazy acrobatics and is very good at word games. Mr. Fox has red fur with pointy ears and nose. He also wears blue socks.
Mr. Knox
Mr. Knox wears a yellow jumper and owns an orange box he likes to hide in at times. In the short story, Mr. Fox takes Knox on an adventure to teach him about tongue twisters.
The Cat in the Hat
The Cat in the Hat is a tall cat who dresses up in a red and white striped hat with a red bow tie. He is a farm cat and sometimes carries a blue, red, or green umbrella.
Goo-Goose
The Goo-Goose is a yellow bird who likes eating goo.
Sue
Sue is a young girl who sows socks including Mr. Fox’s. She has yellow hair and wears an orange dress with pink socks. Like Mr. Fox, she is also playful.
Slow Joe Crow
Slow Joe Crow is a black crow who wears a blue jacket with a bow tie and a tall hat. He helps Sue sew her dress.
Luke Luck
Luke Luck and his loyal companion Duck like to drink water from a lake nearby. He and Duck drink the water by licking the lake until they are full.
Bim and Ben
Bim and Ben are two cats who are possibly brothers. The two cats wear identical jumpsuits and enjoy drumming.
