Mary Shelley
In Chapter Ten, Victor is filled with melancholoy over the loss of his loved ones, and yet, trying to find his own way...... a way to ris himself of despondency. Like Victor, the creature is despondent, seeing himself as the most despised of all living creatures. The two, creator and creation, each harbor illness toward the other, they are each filled with anger. Victor's anger is tinged with guilt..... the creature's anger is tinged with suffering.
