Frostbite Irony

Frostbite Irony

Conqueror of hearts

Rose is a young and beautiful girl, who forces every guy to fall in love with her in the academy. One day she tells Mason about the silver stake and the heart woes. But at this moment, Manson begins to jeer at Rose ironically. He affirms that “she doesn’t know where the heart is, especially considering the fact, that she has broken many of them”. Friends always can gibe at each other.

Brainless creatures

Moroi blood empowers Strigoi life and their desire is obvious. But Strigoi always try to kill Moroi and members of the royal family, because of “their cruel and sadistic nature”. The irony is based on the fact that Strigoi want to tear apart Moroi society, but they actually don’t understand that Strigoi life is dependent on the existence of Moroi.

Half-fearless guardsman

Mason is a dhampir and Rose’s friends. He is “neither stupid nor oblivious to social cues”. Everybody supposes him to be a timid and weak person. But he is sure that he will be able to struggle with Strigoi, despite gossips, but the moment that “he is afraid of Rose’s mother” the reader can find it ironic, as he wants to fight every Strigoi, but actually he fears one woman.
