Why do you think everyone’s cars have gone missing?

Some students may argue that the elders have made everyone’s car go missing. Students making this argument may point out that Babo’s car floated away shortly after the elders left the asylum. The deeper question, however, is why? If the elders are making everyone’s cars disappear, why? Some students may argue that they are trying to keep everyone in Blossom for some reason. Other students may argue that this is an argument against the use of technology and the elders are trying to force the characters to return to an earlier era.
