    How does Gulliver convey the size of the people and objects in Brobdingnag to the reader? Is it different from how he conveyed those aspects of Lilliput and the Lilliputians?

    Gulliver focuses more on comparisons to convey how large the people and objects are in Brobdingnag—describing how many gallons one of their coffee cups can hold, etc. In Lilliput, on the other hand, Gulliver generally described everything via precise measurements. He does employ measurements at times in this chapter, but it seems that comparisons might be more effective for this large scale than they would have been for the tiny things found in Lilliput.
