Structure:

Lin-Manuel Miranda began writing Hamilton because he was entranced by one biography. Ask students to think of a time that a historical event or story, or one person's life, made them deeply interested. Have they learned something in history class they want to know more about? Did they see a movie or listen to a song that made them wonder...
