Family
Isma raised her twin siblings and sacrificed her youth to compensate for the absence of their parents. She devoted herself to providing for them, sacrificing her dreams and aspirations. Isma and her siblings share a special bond, but when her brother Parvaiz leaves to join a terrorist group, it shatters Isma's trust in him and makes her question the values she instilled in them. Despite her brother's disappearance, Aneeka remains hopeful and believes he will return.
However, after his death, Aneeka is determined to bring his body back to their homeland, going against all odds. Tragically, she dies in an accident while pursuing her mission, leaving behind a devastated Isma and a shattered family.
Love and Sacrifice
Aneeka intentionally charms Eamonn, knowing he is Karamat Lone's son, whom she can manipulate for her purposes. Initially, she uses Eamonn to bring her dead brother's body home and clear his name of terrorist accusations.
Despite Eamonn's awareness that Aneeka approached him for his connections, he also recognizes genuine love for him. Aneeka shows her genuine love for Eamonn when a member of a terrorist group attaches a time bomb to him. She rushes to him, and they embrace each other, ultimately choosing to die together.
Religion and Politics
The story delves into themes of religion and politics, illustrating how influential individuals manipulate innocent people for their agendas. The terrorist group indoctrinates Parvaiz, convincing him that his actions are for the greater good, but he later realizes the truth and attempts to escape, only to be killed by them.
Karamat Lone, seeking acceptance from the U.K. public and aiming to advance his political career, distances himself from his Pakistani roots and presents himself as more aligned with English culture. To bolster his image, he highlights the involvement of the Pasha family in extremist groups and portrays Parvaiz as a terrorist.
