Horton
Horton is a kind and generous elephant who lives in the jungle. One day, he is tempted by the Kwuggerbug, who offers him a share of Beezlenuts if he would take him to where the nuts are. Ultimately, he is manipulated by the bug due to his trusting nature.
Crocodiles
The crocodiles live in the lake, and Horton is at first frightened to travel across due to their presence. He is especially frightened of their flashing teeth.
The Kwuggerbug
The Kwuggerbug is a manipulative and cruel creature, who takes advantage of Horton. When Horton is offered the chance to get some Beezlenuts, he makes a deal with the bug, which ultimately backfires. Thankfully, the Kwuggerbug does not come out victorious in the end.
