There are several films associated with In Cold Blood. First, there are two adaptations of the book, one for 1967 (recommended) and one, adapted for TV, from 1996. While either of these would be a fine addition to a classroom, perhaps even more useful are two recent films about Truman Capote himself, Capote (2005) and Infamous (2006). They both cover the period when Capote was writing In Cold Blood and offer insight into his process and the potential conflicts of interests that played into the writing of the book. Infamous is part of an activity on Day 3.
