    A Walk Through Your Neighborhood

    Creative Writing

    Objective:

    Students will write a personal essay in the form of a walk through a familiar or important locale.

    Structure:

    Today's lesson focuses largely on how Wallace uses geography and the language of space to add a level of characterization to the people in Infinite Jest. In particular, we see Don Gately experience flashes of memory as he drives Pat Montesian's car through Allston.
