Jurassic Park (1993 film) Imagery

Peace

Grant is out in the open with Ellie when they see a herd of dinosaurs grazing in the land. This imagery reveals the majesty of living alongside these ancient creatures, that there is also a peaceful nature to dinosaurs that contrast the violence that will ensue.

32 mph

Grant is seen falling to the ground after Hammond tells him that they have a T Rex that has been clocked at 32 miles per hour. The imagery shows how staggering the reality of dinosaurs in present day life is when seen first hand.

Exposed

Tim and Lex are in the theme park tour jeep with the glass top as the rain pours down while the electric fence is down. This imagery shows us how exposed these kids are to the reality of the danger of the T Rex that is now able to get to them.

Playing Fetch

Nedry attempts to play fetch with a dinosaur after he's fallen down trying to escape the park. The dinosaur them spits poisonous liquid into his face. The imagery reveals how man has no idea of the realities of danger that exist when living with dinosaurs.
