Bardo

(In Tibetan Buddhism) : an intermediate state of existence between death and rebirth depending on a person's conduct in life.

(verb): to strive hard to achieve something

Vex

(verb): to irritate or to annoy

consternation

(noun): a feeling of shock, anxietyn or confusion

remiss

(adjective): careless / negligent in the performance of a duty

torpor

(noun): a state of not being active physically or mentally

Stolid

(adjective): having no interest or excitement / calm

Aplomb

(noun): the quality of being completely confident in a relaxed way

Paroxysm

(noun): a sudden attack of an activity

circumnavigate

(verb): to move around something in order to avoid an obstacle.
