Charlie Barber is a theater director. He lives in New York City with his wife Nicole and son Henry. He is going through a separation from his wife, which forces him to spend sometime in Los Angeles. Furthermore, he's also producing a play that will be on Broadway.
Nicole Barber
Nicole is an actress and the wife of Charlie. She is also a mother to Henry and stars in Charlie's play. Nicole decides to get a divorce from Charlie and relocates to Los Angeles. She is going back to Hollywood to become a full-fledged movie star.
Nora Fanshaw
Nora is a questionable divorce lawyer who will use any means necessary to win cases. She manipulates Nicole's into hiring her as legal representative in court. Nora's tactics will prove to be destructive to Charlie and Nicole's relationship.
Henry Barber
Henry is the son of Charlie and Nicole. He is forced to move to Los Angeles as his parents are going through divorce. This process proves to be disorienting for Henry, who is caught between his parents fighting for custody.
