    Objective:

    Students will compare one of Moby Dick's many adaptations to the novel.

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.9-10.1; CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.9-10.5; CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.9-10.7

    Structure:

    Moby Dick is a novel that has been adapted several times across a number of artistic mediums, including film, television, graphic novel, and musical theater.

    For this activity, students will divide into groups and select one of the many adaptations available. A list of noteworthy ones may be found here:
