Cog

A piece of machinery; a wheel or bar with a series of projections that engages with another wheel or bar with projections to transfer motion

Intertitles

A piece of printed text edited into the picture to deliver some idea or piece of information

Collectivism

The practice of prioritizing a group over each individual member of the group

Monolithic

large, powerful, uniform, and intractible

Indomitable

unable to subdue or overcome

Inhospitable

harsh or difficult to live in (of an environment)

Languish

To suffer as a result of being forced to stay in one place for an extended period of time; to grow weak or feeble

Bourgeois

Refers to the middle class, particularly with regard to its perceived materialistic values or conventional attitudes.
