In Hero's first substantial lines of the play, she tells Margaret to fetch Beatrice so Beatrice might listen in on Hero and Ursula's conversation. Hero mentions that Beatrice might hide amongst the honeysuckles, which "ripened by the sun, / Forbid the sun to enter--like favourites / Made proud by princes, that advance their pride / Against that power that bred it" (3.1.8-12).
