Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass
Can you give a quote by Douglass about the relation between the white master and his wife in which he criticise slavery?

Are you looking for a quote from Master Hugh Auld to his wife? If so, Hugh Auld does not criticize slavery in anything I can find, he obviously is concerned for the treatment of slaves because he took Frederick from his brother, but he himself was a taskmaster. The only true interaction I find between Auld and his wife is he admonishment that she STOP teaching Frederick to read.
If you're looking for a quote by someone else please advise.
