    How is "[Lana Turner has collapsed!]" similar to "The Day Lady Died," another poem ostensibly focused on a celebrity? How is it different?

    Both poems, though titled or led with the celebrity in question, spend much more time focused on the perspective and experiences of the speaker. They both end on an experience with the celebrity. "[Lana Turner has collapsed!]" is a much lighter poem, and much less reverent towards the celebrity in question than "The Day Lady Died."
