As Roland and Maud continue their mission, their questions lead to more questions rather than clear answers. What are some of these new questions, specifically as they concern Ash and Christabel's travels, Ellen, and Blanche?

First, there seem to be indications in the letters that Christabel accompanied Ash on his explorations in Yorkshire. When Roland and Maud travel there, they begin to find clues, such as Yorkshire words in Christabel's poetry, but no definitive proof that she was there.
