Proof of an External World Characters

Proof of an External World Character List

G.E. Moore

G.E. Moore is the narrator and author of 'Proof of An External World.' According to Moore, it is easy for readers to understand and believe in the visible things around us. However, the external world is a different scenario that requires proof for someone to believe.

Kant

Kant is the champion who advocated for proof of all the things in the external world. Moore agrees with Kent and pushes his plan to advocate for transparency, not only on what is philosophically right but also using science to offer evidence.

Professor Kemp Smiths

Professor Kemp thinks that people should believe only in the things that exist. According to Professor Kemp, it is a philosophical scandal to convince people to believe in what does not exist.

Dr. Johnson

Dr. Johnson’s findings disagree with Berkley’s arguments that there are no external objects. Johnson believes that there are external objects which require proof. Johnson’s proof is almost similar to Moore’s discovery about the existence of external objects.
