to practice students’ reviewing and critical thinking skills

Common Core Standards:

Structure:

1. Students should first hand in their completed short stories, printed out. Now, each student will act as a reviewer of a student's story for the class’s “collection.” Place each printed story on a different desk. Randomly assign each student to a desk (they should not be seated with their own story). Then, give each student 10 minutes to read their assigned stories.
