Students will be able to understand the process behind Stoppard's free adaptation

Structure:
Divide the students into the same groups as before. They will each present the scene they have written to the class, playing the characters themselves, in the style of a staged reading. After all the scenes have been presented, initiate a brief discussion of the projects, first letting the writer-adapters answer the questions, and then opening those questions to the audience. You might guide the discussion with the following prompts:
