    On previous days, we have explored the relationship between children and addicted parents. Now, let’s explore the relationship between siblings in the book who share an addicted parent, in particular Shuggie and Leek. What factors shape the way the brothers speak and act toward each other? How does Leek’s treatment of Shuggie strike you on a personal level? Where do you think your gut reactions toward their dynamic come from?
