Silence Lesson Plan

In this lesson plan, students will be given several opportunities to leverage modern technology to expand and present their knowledge of various subjects in a number of different formats. In the Day 1 activity "The Land of the Rising Sun," students will use Google Earth to become better acquainted with the geography of Japan and its environs. In the subsequent activity, "Japan Scavenger Hunt!", students will also be asked to use the Internet to quickly find information that will help them understand Japanese history, society, and culture.
