In Chapter 37, the narrator says:

"Only a man with a soul as deep as his could have won the heart of a woman like this” (342).

Here, he is referring to Ipek’s beauty when he says “a woman like this." In what way is this comment sexist against women? Do you think Orhan the narrator is sexist? Why or why not? What about Orhan the author?
