Storm Front (The Dresden Files Book 1) is a fantasy book written by American author Jim Butcher, and was first published Penguin Putnam on April 1, 2000.
The plot follows a missing person investigation, led by the protagonist, a wizard known as Harry Dresden. Dresden is approached by a woman to find her husband, Victor Sells. Sells has been practicing magic illegally, leading to the deaths of numerous people. Dresden is blamed for these deaths, so he investigates into Sells. Here, he discovers the use of a drug known as "ThreeEye", which gives temporary magical ability to the user. Dresden and Sells ensue in a stand-off, with the victor resulting in the best magician.
A television adaptation of the series, known as The Dresden Files, was released by SyFy on January 21, 2007. The show starred Paul Blackthorne as Harry Dresden and aired for twelve episodes. A comic of the series was also illustrated by Ardian Syaf and Brett Booth.
