The Supreme Court case that declared segregation in schools between black and white kids to be unconstitutional (1954)

intellectuals

people who have a high level of mental power

relativism

the idea that truth and morals are directly linked to culture and history

metaphysical

the idea and philosophy of existence

theologian

a person who is an expert in religion and God

pacifism

the idea that violence is unacceptable and any conflict should be settled peacefully

contemporaneous
