Pluripotent cells are cells that eventually are formed into differentiated cells throughout the body. They are developed from tissue cells called mesenchyme, which is a type of tissue that works to develop into different types of connective tissue. Red bone marrow forms a small percentage of pluripotent cells because it too is formed from mesenchyme which allowed it to form into a connective tissue. Red bone marrow helps in forming certain tissue as well as different forms of cells. This is all initiated and derived from mesenchyme tissue which is what helps develop the pluripotent cells which later develop into different cells in the body that serve specific functions.
